# Charts and forms in replies

Ask your Agent to draw a flowchart, chart the numbers, show the steps or prepare a form. You do not need to learn a format.

Existing links, quotes, tables and file cards keep working. Local files still require the host to authorize and send them with the reply. Markdown, PDF, audio and video keep their existing previews; persistent to-dos stay on the official To-do card.

Forms accept text, choices, checkboxes and dates. Never enter passwords, API keys or other secrets. Prepare draft and confirmation-card choices only append content to the message box, preserving your existing draft. Review it and press Send. These cards do not approve tool permissions; dangerous actions still require the official approval card. Existing one-tap reply choices still send on a tap.

Actions stay disabled while the reply is being written. Unsupported, malformed or oversized blocks remain source text while the rest of the reply displays normally. Quoted components stay source text; the full-screen reader is read-only.

## Output contract for the Agent

The bundled `agentj-reply-components` skill is generated from the same component registry and lists names, parameters, limits and examples. Structured components use an `agentj` JSON fence: flowchart, bar/line chart, steps, confirmation card and form. Existing Mermaid diagrams continue through the local renderer. Components load no external scripts, execute no HTML/JS and call no local tools. Links retain the existing URL filter.
